The History
The Journey Began in 1988 when Jr. Aaron with the help of his family opened the doors of Woodstock Furniture Outlet. Humble beginnings can best describe what was then a 6000 square feet building on Hwy 5, known for having great deals on odds and ends, scratch and dent, etc. Customers enjoyed the friendly, down to earth atmosphere and would eagerly visit to see what was new or for casual chit-chat amongst friends. Business increased considerably and the need for more space was inevitable, so the Aarons moved to their second location, a 25000 square foot building at the intersection of Bells Ferry Road and Hwy 92.
An explosion of growth in the area produced a higher demand for a furniture store and Jr., foreseeing the trend rose to meet the need. Thus began the transition from an odds and ends store to "Your Hometown furniture Superstore". A store where you can find everything you need to furnish every room in your home. Woodstock Furniture Outlet has grand selection of living room, dining room, mattresses, rugs, lamps, pictures, accessories and a huge floral department complete with floral designers.
The Aaron family's business continued to grow and in 2001 they relocated to their present location, 70,000 square feet of showroom and warehouse space on Hwy 92 in Acworth, which they are now expanding a total of 20,000 square feet. This new expansion will create more efficiency for serving customers in addition to more showroom and warehouse space. July 2005 the Hiram location was opened. Both locations present the same quality customer service while possessing an easy going, friendly environment.
Jr. attributes the growth of Woodstock Furniture Outlet to many things, however, first and foremost to God. For God gave him the vision to open a furniture store during a critical time of area growth and development. He then credits the company's success to wonderful and faithful customers, his family and a host of associates who work hard at maintaining the company's mission.
