Counter and bar tables are perfect for informal dining spaces, such as casual dining rooms
, kitchens, or breakfast nooks. The main difference between a traditional dining table
and a counter or bar table is the height of the table top. Most dining tables
are "standard height" and are the lowest of these at around 30 inches tall. Next comes "counter height" tables, also known as counter tables, at around 36 inches tall. Lastly, the tallest of these three is a "bar height" table or pub table at approximately 42 inches tall. Just keep in mind that regardless of which height is the best fit for your home, be sure to buy matching stools
of the appropriate height!
