El Chaparro Tex-Mex Cantina

Tacos, enchiladas, fajitas — El Chaparro delivers Tex-Mex classics in a festive, family-friendly cantina-style space. Flavor-packed sauces and well-seasoned fillings make every bite enjoyable, from the sizzling fajitas to the cheesy enchiladas.
It’s the kind of place where big groups feel at home, portions are generous, and margaritas flow freely. If you’re looking for a hearty, easygoing Mexican meal with solid service and vibrant surroundings, El Chaparro is a solid pick.
Mystic Grill
Housed in one of the oldest standing historical buildings in Covington, Mystic Grill also happens to serve seriously good Southern fare with an emphasis on farm-to-table ingredients from with sustainable local farming partners. They also have arguably the best view in town with their rooftop setting overlooking beautiful, historic Covington Square. Casual yet atmospheric, it’s a great choice for everything from date nights, to business lunch, to evenings with friends.
The Mystic Grill menu features tons of classic Southern dishes with a slight twist including entrees like sweet tea fried chicken, shrimp and grits, salads, plenty of burger and sandwich options, and starters like chicken and waffle sliders, fried pickles, fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese. The ambiance and the menu combine for an always delightful experience, which is why Mystic Grill was one of the big winners in our own internal employee survey.
Osake Japanese Sushi & Hibachi
