Furniture is more than something that sits in your house — it’s part of your home, your unique style, and your everyday comfort. Whether you’re furnishing a dining room, upgrading your favorite recliner, or investing in a new leather sofa, it’s a meaningful purchase. And at Woodstock Furniture & Mattress Outlet, we believe your new furniture should be protected from the mishaps of everyday life.
That’s why we offer our Furniture Benefits Plan — a 4-year limited warranty designed to help protect your new furniture from the unexpected little twists and turns of life.

Why Add a Protection Plan?
Our Furniture Benefits Plan isn’t only for "clumsy" people or "risky" households — it’s for real life. Spills, pet stains, kids, houseguests, mishaps during the holidays — we’ve seen it all. And we’ve helped fix it.
The truth is, most people don’t plan on needing it. But in our experience, life tends to surprise us. The dog has an accident on your new sofa. A guest spills wine or coffee. Your favorite power recliner suddenly stops reclining. These things happen — and when they do, our Furniture Benefits Plan is there to help.
Imagine this — two years after your purchase, the motor in your favorite recliner inexplicably goes out. With our protection plan? You’re covered. No guessing, no stress. Just our team ready and on standby to help make it right.
Without coverage, repair or replacement costs can add up quickly. The purpose of our benefits plan is to offer customers support and service when the unexpected strikes.
Who Is a Good Fit for the Furniture Benefits Plan?
While anyone can benefit from added protection, this plan is especially valuable for:
- Families with pets or young children – Let’s face it, accidents, spills, stains, and other surprises come with the territory.
- Homes used for frequently entertaining guests – More foot traffic means more opportunities for accidental damage, or for clumsy friends or family to spill something
- Buyers of power or motion furniture – with their mechanisms, motors, remotes, and other components, motion and reclining furniture have more moving parts — and therefore more complex repair needs when they do need servicing.
- Furniture featuring light-colored or premium materials – Lighter colors tend to show stains much more easily, while higher-end items tend to cost more to repair.
- Anyone who values peace of mind – If you’d rather not worry about “what ifs,” this plan offers reliable support just in case.
If any of these sound like you or your home, you’re probably a great candidate for protection. And even if they don’t? Knowing help is there when you need it can be worth the investment. Below, we’ll give you the rundown of what is and isn’t covered by our protection plan.
What Doesn’t the Furniture Benefits Plan Cover?
To be clear, our Furniture Benefits plan is a limited warranty. In the spirit of transparency, let’s start with what issues aren’t covered and get them out of the way.
Here are the things the plan doesn’t cover:
- Wear and tear consistent with regular use
- General accumulation of issues or damage over time*
- Damage from neglect or misuse
- Furniture used commercially or outdoors other than intended
- Repetitive accidents (such as ongoing pet issues)
- Damage from “jaws and claws” (non-fluid pet damage)
- Unauthorized repairs or improper cleaning
- Acts of nature, fire, burglary, theft, vandalism, collision or corrosion
- Suede or exotic leathers
*Important Note: Finally, we’d like to reiterate that our Furniture Benefits Plan doesn’t cover accumulation of damages. That means that if you have a stain, spill, accident or something else otherwise covered under the plan, you must call it in each and every time you’ve got an issue. If you wait for days, weeks, months, or years to report several incidents at once, the claim will be rejected.
For all of the finer details, we are happy to help you review the warranty document in full.
